Shirley has been an integral part of the organization since its inception in 2021. From a participant to a facilitator, she honed her skills within BGR, fostering relationships and leading her community club with creativity and positivity. Graduating from BGR marked a transition to an internship, presenting Shirley with challenges and excitement. Navigating the shift from participant to worker, she takes pride in her growth within the organization and is enthusiastic about sharing BGR’s vision and mission with the world. She is currently studying Education and hoping to be a catalyst in climate justice advocacy.
