Shingi works on developing strategic approaches to programs and engagement and building impactful, meaningful partnerships across Africa, supporting young black girls from across Africa to become self-sufficient, integrated, and engaged members of their communities and the society at large through climate justice activism and the promotion of personal growth. She has five years of experience as a Women’s Program Manager and over ten years of experience working in marginalized communities in the field of family therapy, adolescent and crisis counseling, as well as training and development in changing attitudes about societal issues and creating a culture of respect for women and girls.
