Is a dedicated intern and advocate for menstrual health and environmental sustainability. As a graduate of Black Girls Rising’s first cohort of young girls, she now gives back by supporting new participants on their journeys. Currently, Mikuthi serves as the lead intern for the Period Power project at Black Girls Rising, which raises awareness about menstrual health, promotes proper menstrual care, and advocates for eco-friendly, biodegradable products. Passionate about climate justice, she envisions a world where no girl has to miss school due to a lack of resources. Mikuthi aspires to begin her university studies and become an Oral hygienist.
